had a few mix of emotions when i first entered the HTA. first was suspense. second was awe. third was just plain clam. i had a great time in fact. met a few friends on the first day (yeah!). people like arshad, jun hong, sherman... i thought cadets with ranks sergeant and above will fill in the ranks of the contingent but instead there were privates too. but in any sense, they were still good. the parade rsm was driving on the "double beat". i got famous and everyone knew me on the first day (i was the most decorated cadet and also the cadet that was most often called). i was the oldest in the contingent. i almost lost my beret. i knew how to get to HTA in 2 and a half hours. i got to use my iniative. i saw many st pats guys in the scouts cont.
